Alyssa's First Day of Kindergarden

Alyssa started the day by having a bowl of Cream of Wheat with mom. It started of a little rough when mom put Alyssa on the wrong bus do to the van clock being off by ten minutes. Mom then had to chase down the bus to get Alyssa on the correct one. They then waited around by Mitchell house for the next bus which arrived about 10 minutes later.

Mom went to school at the end of Alyssa’s first day to take pictures and a video of Alyssa getting on the bus. So Mom waited for Alyssa at the Daycare spot but the bus driver did not want to let Alyssa off at the spot because he had written down that she was suppose to be dropped off at our house. Jill tried several ways to explain that she was suppose to be dropped off at the Daycare spot on Wednesdays and Thursdays but the Bus driver was more concerned about being right than trying to understand. Eventualy he let Alyssa get off at the Daycare spot.

When Alyssa finally got off the bus she told mom in a stern voice “You forgot to put a snack in my bag:”, she was the only one in class without a snack. Opps. Rookies.

For the rest of the Day mom and Alyssa went out for lunch and spent the afternoon going to Garage Sales.

Charlie Update

He like to stand on the sit and spin.  Pushes it and walk with it.   He likes to play on the steps by going up and down the first one or two.   He can easily go up and tries to go down usually only on or two steps before falling backwards and being caught by mom.

No teeth yet but loves to eat what we are eating.  Not always a huge fan of babyfood.   He has gotten very good at putting food  in his mouth by himself.

It has been a challenge keeping track of three with Charlie moving so much now and putting everything in his mouth.  This keeps Mom and Dad very busy.
